Who Are We?
Dr Trilby Escape Rooms in Daventry is a new, independent business which we hope will be an exciting addition to the town and attract people locally and from across the region.
We’ve tried to think outside the box to develop unique elements to each room whilst striking the right balance between fun and complexity. A huge amount of thought and craftmanship has gone in to the physical creation of the interior, with a vintage atmosphere and feel. We also have a fully licensed cocktail bar serving both non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks including wines, beer, cider and spirits.
There is something for everyone, from our family oriented Jungle Room (perfect for kids), to the Zombie Zone scare fest! We also have our Murder Case, perfect for teams of budding detectives, and then the Nuclear Meltdown for a tense race to prevent disaster!
We bring storytelling, creativity, and immersive adventure together. Each challenge is a test of teamwork, communication, collaboration and determination. Escape within an hour, but also build a team score so rather than a pass/fail you gain recognition for your efforts and successes.
What is an Escape Room?
If you’re unfamiliar with Escape Rooms you’re in for a treat! They are a relatively new entertainment activity where you and your friends or colleagues are ‘trapped’ in a room and are faced with various challenges and puzzles to solve in order to find a means of escape within an hour. It’s an exciting, hands-on adventure!
Forget passively watching a film or scrolling through your phone; escape rooms get everyone up, thinking, and working as a team. You’ll search for hidden clues, crack codes, unlock secret compartments and piece together clever puzzles, all while racing against the clock to find your way out.

Your Game Host
You will be greeted on arrival and receive a full briefing prior to entering your chosen room. If you arrive at least 30 mins early there will be time for a drink and extra questions. Your game host will be on hand to help you every step of the way and can be called upon to give extra hints and clues when requested or required.

Convenient and Free Parking
Daventry Town Centre benefits from free parking. We recommend using the Old Gas Works Long Stay Car Park which is large, free and has no time restrictions. It is a short walk of roughly 3 minutes to our premises. The carpark’s postcode is NN11 9YB.
